Materials That Actually Mean Something
Recycled & High Standard
Our SKYLA bags are crafted from various materials including Recycled GRS certified PU, high standard PU, and high quality Nylon.
These materials hold elevated standards both aesthetically and in performance as they are designed to:
- Mimic the look and feel of high-quality leather
- Stay lightweight, durable, and water-resistant
- Have a soft, supple handfeel instead of the stiff, shiny look of cheap faux leather
As we continue our search for materials that combine style with exceptional quality, not all of our fabrics can carry a GRS certification, however we are actively collaborating with our suppliers to expand certifications across our collections.
Recycled rPET Lining
Our monogram linings are made from Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET) created from recycled plastic bottles.
This approach:
- Gives new life to existing plastic
- Helps reduce waste heading to landfills
- Proves that style and environmental responsibility can coexist
Approximately 6-10 plastic bottles are recycled for each SKYLA bag.
